Eddie Foster was born in Ohio, and after living in several parts of the northeastern United States, he once again lives in the Buckeye State, most likely for good this time. He lives in the Dayton area with his wife, Shannon, and two daughters, Isabella and Marley. They attend the Cincinnati/Dayton congregation of the Church of God, a Worldwide Association.
Eddie has a bachelor of science degree in early to middle childhood education from Bluefield State College (West Virginia) and a master’s degree in speech-language pathology from the University of Cincinnati. He works in public schools, serving elementary and middle school students with speech and language impairments, as well as children with other disabilities.
He also enjoys writing, especially on topics that help people fight and win the battle against harmful sins, which he believes is the leading cause of misery. He is passionate about sharing “how to” methods and insights he has learned while fighting his own battles to overcome sin and learn from the God of love and wisdom.
In his free time, he enjoys watching epic sci-fi movies and has other, admittedly nerdy, tendencies. He also enjoys respectful debate of different ideas, soulful jazz and ’70s rhythm and blues, writing poetry and trying to bring joy to people through laughter.
