You Are Why We Created Life, Hope & Truth

Here’s why we hope you will find hope on Life, Hope & Truth. On the 10th anniversary of the website, we celebrate you—and recommit to our goal of giving you what this world so desperately needs.

On June 11, 2012, we launched Millions of visitors and thousands of articles and blog posts later, our mission remains the same. We zealously strive to share God’s good news—the gospel—with you.

It’s a message of hope in a world that can seem hopeless. God’s message is about life—real, abundant, eternal life—when threats to our existence abound. And it’s all based on truth—unshakable, certain, God-given truth—while society swims in a swamp of half-truths and deceit.

Start with why

Leadership consultant Simon Sinek is famous for encouraging everyone to Start With Why—the name of one of his best-selling books. Without the passion and purpose that knowing why gives, success is elusive.

Why have we lovingly built this site? For you—for your benefit. To serve you, based on Jesus’ commands to preach the good news of God’s coming Kingdom and to educate and care for those who respond and seek to follow Jesus Christ (Matthew 24:14; 28:19-20).

Creating and supporting a growing website on the ever-changing Internet has its challenges. But if it helps you—if you get a clearer glimpse of God’s love for you and His plan for you—it’s all worth it.

From the beginning

In our press release announcing the new website 10 years ago, we said: aims to give a fresh perspective on ‘the lack of understanding about the purpose of life, the lack of realistic hope for a better future and the lack of truth.

We love our readers—you! You are why we do this.“‘People all over the world are searching for answers to life’s biggest questions,’ said Jim Franks, president of the Church of God, a Worldwide Association, Inc., which sponsors the site. ‘Science simply cannot answer—and religion has not adequately answered—the moral and spiritual questions we wonder about: Why do we exist? Does my life have purpose? What happens after I die?’

“‘The writers for have one thing in common,’ Clyde Kilough, media operation manager, stated. ‘They discovered at some point in their lives that there is a source for real, meaningful and practical answers to the questions and challenges of life. They are now committed to helping others take a new look at God, the Bible, the meaning of life, prophecy, human relationships, and why all these things are relevant to changing our world today.’”

That commitment continues. We want to share with you:

You need to know the why in your life. God has a great purpose for you. Your life has meaning—even in the painful and tedious parts. This life is a training ground for the abundant eternal life of joy and accomplishment that our loving God has in store for you!

Knowing your purpose and your awesome future in the Kingdom of God provides the lifeline of hope so lacking today. Real hope provides an anchor in life’s storms. It can inspire and motivate you and help you endure the trials of today.

All of this is possible because of the message our Creator recorded for you—the Holy Bible. It is God-breathed. It is the definition of truth. It is the source of all that we write and share. We tell our readers: Don’t believe us; believe the Bible.

Keep the conversation going!
