Love Does Not Behave Rudely

1 Corinthians 13:5  

[Love] does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil. …

In describing what true godly love is, the apostle Paul listed many things it is not. Rudeness and self-seeking are the opposite of outgoing, giving love.

Love is peaceful and not easily provoked to anger, and it seeks good and stays far away from evil.
