No matter how you count it, it’s impossible to fit three full, literal days in between Good Friday and Easter Sunday. And yet Jesus promised that His time in the tomb would be the defining sign of His identity as the Messiah.
Why the discrepancy? And how can we account for it?
Phil Sandilands was born and raised in Indiana. After high school he moved to Pasadena, California, to attend Ambassador College. He married Marlys Strommen after graduating in 1981 and together they have two children and two granddaughters.
