Fewer and fewer people—Christians included—believe in a real, literal devil. Is Satan just a fairy tale? A symbol? A metaphor? The New Testament Christians and Jesus Christ Himself believed the devil to be a literal being whose actions can have a huge impact on our daily lives.
Gary Black and his lovely wife of over 30 years, Gale, have three grown children and six grandchildren. He is pastor of the Church of God congregations in the Houston, Texas, area and formerly pastored in Minnesota, Wisconsin and North Dakota. In addition to his pastoral responsibilities, he has served as a camp director. He is also a presenter for the Life, Hope & Truth Presents video program.
