New Sabbath Discover Series on Life, Hope & Truth
We’re excited to announce the latest entry in our Discover series of short videos—“The Sabbath: A Gift From God.” Check out the seven-part series today!
“Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy” (Exodus 20:8).
It’s been a long time since God etched those words into tablets of stone—about 3,500 years, to be more precise—and a lot has changed since then.
The Sabbath, however, hasn’t.
In our latest Discover video series, join Foundation Institute instructor David Johnson as he expounds on the Fourth Commandment and why it is a gift from God. In this seven-part series, you’ll learn important facts about the Sabbath, including:
-
Discover videos are designed to explore some of the Bible’s most important truths in an easy-to-understand format.
What the Sabbath really is. - Why what day we keep matters.
- What Jesus taught about the Sabbath.
- What the early Church believed about the Sabbath.
- Why so many churches keep Sunday.
- How to keep the Sabbath in today’s hectic world.
If you’re interested in learning what the Bible says about the Sabbath (and why God wants you to remember it), then you’ll want to watch the series!
What’s a Discover series?
Discover videos are designed to explore some of the Bible’s most important truths in an easy-to-understand format. Each series features a presenter walking through the Bible’s teachings on a particular subject. While we cover quite a bit in each series, we’ve broken them into easily digested segments (usually about 5-10 minutes), so how you watch them is up to you—dive through them all at once, or watch them as you have the time.
All of our current series are available for streaming from the Learning Center. At the moment, in addition to the “Sabbath: A Gift From God,” we also have a series on “Life After Death,” the “Feasts of the Lord” and the “10 Commandments.” If you haven’t already, we hope you’ll take the time to check them out!
We also upload the episodes to YouTube and sometimes Facebook.
What’s next?
We don’t know yet! Why not let us know what you’d like to see? Leave us a comment on our Facebook page, and we’ll consider it as we start planning our future series.
