Wisdom in God’s Creation
Proverbs 8:22
“The LORD possessed me at the beginning of His way, before His works of old.”
Proverbs 8 personifies wisdom as a woman crying out to share her valuable wisdom to help everyone who will listen.
Verse 22 begins a section showing how God used wisdom in creating the universe (verses 23-31). God’s amazing creation displays His wisdom, with all its perfect interconnections and beauty. Since wisdom preceded the creation, it is even more valuable than anything in the creation, including the gold and jewels.
