Who May Stand in His Holy Place?

Psalm 24:3-4

Who may ascend into the hill of the LORD? Or who may stand in His holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who has not lifted up his soul to an idol, nor sworn deceitfully.

Who can fellowship with the holy God? God calls on those who worship Him to be holy as He is holy (Leviticus 11:45). This includes purifying our hands (actions) and hearts (motives).

As Jesus said in the Beatitudes in Matthew 5:8, “Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.” For more on this Beatitude, see “Blessed Are the Pure in Heart.”
