Who Is the King of Glory?

Psalm 24:9-10

Lift up your heads, O you gates! Lift up, you everlasting doors! And the King of glory shall come in. Who is this King of glory? The LORD of hosts, He is the King of glory. Selah

This beautiful psalm builds in anticipation and praise for the coming King who will reign in glory forever.

The promise of the Kingdom of God is the hope and good news taught throughout the Bible. In the New Testament, we come to understand that this refers to the second coming of Jesus Christ to rule as the King of Kings and Lord of Lords over all nations (Revelation 11:15; 19:16).
