Trust God, Be Happy
He who heeds the word wisely will find good, and whoever trusts in the LORD, happy is he.
Whatever we learn, we should learn to apply it wisely. We must especially seek to properly heed God’s Word, not giving it our personal spin or unbalanced application. We must trust that God’s way works and is beneficial.
In the midst of trials, when our faith is tried, it may be hard to see the happiness God promises. But the end result of the testing of our faith is true joy.
As James wrote: “My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing” (James 1:2-4).
