They Shall Not Hurt nor Destroy

Isaiah 11:9-10

“They shall not hurt nor destroy in all My holy mountain, for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD as the waters cover the sea. And in that day there shall be a Root of Jesse, who shall stand as a banner to the people; for the Gentiles shall seek Him, and His resting place shall be glorious.”

The Kingdom of God will be established on the knowledge of God. This is the same knowledge God reveals today through the Holy Bible.

The Bible teaches the way of peace and shows how to have a relationship with the Prince of Peace, the Savior and Messiah Jesus Christ, who was a descendant of Jesse (King David’s father, Matthew 1:6 ).

Today most do not understand the knowledge of God. Many have no access to the Bible. Others have access but have no interest in it. Still others try to read the Bible occasionally, but cannot understand it. God promises that in the future the knowledge of God will be available everywhere, as widespread as water is in the sea.

Then God will put His laws in their minds and hearts, and “all shall know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them” ( Hebrews 8:10-11 ).
