They Pierced My Hands and My Feet
For dogs have surrounded Me; the congregation of the wicked has enclosed Me. They pierced My hands and My feet; I can count all My bones. They look and stare at Me. They divide My garments among them, and for My clothing they cast lots.

God inspired David’s figurative description of his own suffering to describe the literal suffering Jesus Christ would experience. “They pierced My hands and My feet” was fulfilled in the crucifixion as He was nailed to the stake or cross.
The Roman soldiers who crucified Jesus directly fulfilled verse 18 by dividing His clothing among the four of them, but deciding to gamble for His tunic rather than tear it (John 19:23-24).
After His resurrection, Jesus allowed His disciples to see the marks in His hands and His side (John 20:20). This helped them believe He was who He said He was and had been resurrected.
