The Times of Restoration of All Things

Acts 3:21

“Whom heaven must receive until the times of restoration of all things, which God has spoken by the mouth of all His holy prophets since the world began.”

After God healed a lame man at the gate called Beautiful, the crowds were primed to hear the message Peter preached to them.

Following Jesus’ example, he called on people to repent and to believe the good news of God’s promised Kingdom (Mark 1:14-15). Peter described the Kingdom of God as a time of “refreshing” that would come when Jesus Christ returns to this earth (Acts 3:19-20).

Jesus Christ is the One “heaven must receive until the times of restoration of all things”—another description of the Kingdom of God, the promise God has repeatedly given through all the holy prophets.
