The Joy of Committed Love

Proverbs 5:18-19

Let your fountain be blessed, and rejoice with the wife of your youth. As a loving deer and a graceful doe, let her breasts satisfy you at all times; and always be enraptured with her love.

God is not prudish or Victorian about sex. He created man and woman to become husband and wife and enjoy the pleasures of sexual intimacy within a committed, lifelong marriage relationship. The imagery of these verses is beautiful and sets the tone for the extended love poem that is the Song of Solomon.
