The Eyes of the Lord
Psalm 34:15
The eyes of the LORD are on the righteous, and His ears are open to their cry.
King David points out the care and concern God has for those who seek to do right. They are always in His view, and He always hears their calls. Verse 17 adds that God not only hears, but “delivers them out of all their troubles.”
What does it mean to be righteous? Psalm 119:172 says, “All Your commandments are righteousness.” So a righteous person is one who obeys God’s laws.
