The Counsel of the LORD Stands Forever
Psalm 33:10-11
The LORD brings the counsel of the nations to nothing; He makes the plans of the peoples of no effect. The counsel of the LORD stands forever, the plans of His heart to all generations.
We all like to think our plans are important. Nations put great effort into making plans for the future. But God reminds us that He can void any plans and thwart any human efforts.
On the other hand, God’s plans are permanent. They are perfect and are designed for the benefit of every human being. God’s plans display His great love.
