Say Among the Nations
1 Chronicles 16:31
Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad; and let them say among the nations, “The LORD reigns.”
This song of praise by King David celebrated the bringing of the Ark of the Covenant to Jerusalem. David extolled God for His great plan of salvation, which allows humans to be forgiven and to inherit eternal life in the Kingdom of God. Christ calls on us to share this good news among the nations—in fact, “to all the nations” (Matthew 24:14).
