Rules His Spirit

Proverbs 16:32  

He who is slow to anger is better than the mighty, and he who rules his spirit than he who takes a city.

There have been many mighty warriors and military leaders in history who were able to conquer cities. But how many of these were also able to rule their own spirits? Solomon puts self-control and being slow to anger as more important than the military achievements.
