Rejoices in the Truth

1 Corinthians 13:6  

[Love] does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth. …

Love is the basis of God’s law and way of life. Iniquity—breaking God’s laws—is the opposite of love. So someone with godly love will not rejoice in things that hurt others and go against God’s beneficial laws.

God’s truth includes God’s laws and all of His Word and His plans. True love is never based on falsehood, but rejoices in the truth.
