Many Are the Afflictions of the Righteous
Psalm 34:19
Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the LORD delivers him out of them all.
The Bible reveals that God’s people are currently living in a world under the sway of Satan, the wicked one (1 John 5:19), and that this temporary physical life is a training ground for a wonderful eternity in God’s family. In order to become like our Father, we must resist the devil and endure trials and tribulations.
Thankfully, God has our back—He will deliver us from these afflictions. We must ask for that deliverance, and we must learn the lessons and develop the patience that our trials can bring.
