Knowledge Shall Increase
“But you, Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book until the time of the end; many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase.”
Daniel was given insight into many prophecies stretching from his time to the coming of the Kingdom of God. But some of the prophecies he was given were to be sealed—kept under wraps—until the time of the end.
Jesus Christ provided keys to prophetic understanding in His Olivet Prophecy (Matthew 24-25; Mark 13 and Luke 21) and in other prophecies He inspired in the New Testament. Yet even these prophecies have not been understood by many through history.
At the time of the end of man’s age on the earth, it seems not only will travel, communications and physical knowledge increase rapidly, but God will open greater understanding of many of His prophecies as well.
