I Thank My God for You
Romans 1:8
First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for you all, that your faith is spoken of throughout the whole world.
Paul set the example of being thankful. He was thankful for the brethren in Rome and their good example.
Paul’s thankfulness sets a strong contrast to the unthankful attitudes that Paul warned about in Romans 1:21 and 2 Timothy 3:2. Ingratitude is a hallmark of the evil attitudes of the end time.
