He Adds No Sorrow With It

Proverbs 10:22

The blessing of the LORD makes one rich, and He adds no sorrow with it.

Riches selfishly gained invariably produce the sorrows of strained or broken relationships. But when someone accepts the gift of God’s beneficial laws and obeys them, God can grant further gifts of material riches. These gifts, produced through righteous living, don’t come with regrets and skeletons in the closet. These riches can be truly enjoyed and shared without sorrow.
