Go Into All the World and Preach the Gospel

Mark 16:15

And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.”

After His resurrection, Jesus Christ reminded His disciples of their mission to preach the gospel of the Kingdom of God in all the world.

The book of Acts and the rest of the New Testament show that the apostles and the New Testament Church took this commission seriously and energetically worked to spread His message to “repent and believe in the gospel” (Mark 1:14-15)—to change our attitude toward God and receive the good news about Jesus Christ’s second coming and the establishment of the Kingdom of God on this earth.

They, and the Church of God through the centuries, always realized the task was much greater than they could accomplish on their own. They prayed that God would send more laborers into the harvest (Matthew 9:37-38). The little flock has relied on the true God who does the impossible (Luke 12:32; Matthew 19:26).
