Fruit of the Spirit Listed

Galatians 5:22-23

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.

God’s Holy Spirit is given to those who repent of breaking God’s holy laws and are baptized and have hands laid on them by a minister of God (Acts 2:38; 8:14-17). The Holy Spirit provides a spiritual connection to the mind of God, allowing us to develop the same thoughts and attitudes as God has. The fruit of the Spirit is a reflection of God’s mind in us, helping us think and act as God does.

It can be a very helpful and meaningful Bible study to look up in a concordance each of the characteristics listed in the fruit of the Spirit and read other passages that describe this fruit and how to apply it.
