Eye Has Not Seen

1 Corinthians 2:9-10

But as it is written: “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.” But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God.

In conveying the awesome wonder of God’s plan for us—members of the Church of God, His Spirit-begotten children—the apostle Paul turned to the writings of Isaiah, paraphrasing Isaiah 64:4.

The human senses and human wisdom cannot comprehend this mystery that God has revealed to His people through the gift of the Holy Spirit.
