Each One in His Own Order
But each one in his own order: Christ the firstfruits, afterward those who are Christ’s at His coming. Then comes the end, when He delivers the kingdom to God the Father, when He puts an end to all rule and all authority and power. For He must reign till He has put all enemies under His feet. The last enemy that will be destroyed is death.

We previously covered 1 Corinthians 15:22, which explains that Adam brought death into the world through choosing sin. But Jesus Christ brought the solution to sin and death by dying to pay our death penalty for us. This made it possible for us to repent and be forgiven.
All will be made alive—resurrected—because of God’s plan and Christ’s resurrection. In 1 Corinthians 15:23, Paul shows that God’s plan has several steps, and that not all will be resurrected at the same time.
