Christ’s Second Coming With Power and Great Glory
“Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.”
After the Great Tribulation and the Day of the Lord, Jesus Christ will return to save humanity from self-destruction. This is incredibly good news, yet the deceived nations of the earth will mourn.
The book of Revelation actually shows that the armies of the earth will be deceived by Satan and his henchmen into fighting against Jesus Christ!
“And I saw the beast, the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against Him who sat on the horse and against His army” (Revelation 19:19). But this futile effort will be quickly put down by the great power of God (verse 21), and Jesus Christ and His followers will work to bring restoration and peace to the war-torn world (Acts 3:19-21).
