By Your Will They Exist
“You are worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honor and power; for You created all things, and by Your will they exist and were created.”
In Revelation 4 the apostle John records an awesome vision of the throne room of God. The angelic beings around God’s throne praise and worship their Creator, and in verse 11 John records what he hears the 24 elders say.
God, the Creator, has all power and is deserving of all praise and honor from those He created. If mighty angels recognize this, how much more should weak and mortal human beings, who have been created in the very image of God! It is by His will that we exist. And it is by His will that He offers us the opportunity to be His very children (1 John 3:1-2)!
