Be Steadfast, Immovable

1 Corinthians 15:58

Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.

1 Corinthians 15:58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.
The apostle Paul powerfully proved the resurrection from the dead in 1 Corinthians 15. The resurrection of Jesus Christ confirms that Christians will also be resurrected to immortal life. Jesus Christ has given us this victory over sin and death (verses 56-57).

Paul ends this Resurrection Chapter with the encouragement to stand fast and keep doing God’s work. Our work is not in vain—God notices and remembers our “labor of love” (Hebrews 6:10) and will reward us at His coming:

“And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work” (Revelation 22:12).
