A Kingdom That Shall Never Be Destroyed

Daniel 2:44

“And in the days of these kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom which shall never be destroyed; and the kingdom shall not be left to other people; it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand forever.”

This beautiful promise comes at the end of God’s explanation of a vision given to King Nebuchadnezzar. Throughout history, people have lived under oppressive and cruel governments. Even when a good leader came for a while, it was over too soon.

But God gives us the hope and assurance of a wonderful Kingdom unlike any the world has seen. It will bring peace and prosperity and true happiness—not just for a short time, but permanently!

Human governments will soon be replaced with the Kingdom of God. Learn more about this in “Daniel 2: Nebuchadnezzar’s Dream.”
