Ken Giese is a church pastor in the Fort Worth, Texas, area. In addition to his pastoral duties, he is the director of a preteen camp and an instructor at Foundation Institute, the educational arm of the Church of God, a Worldwide Association, where he teaches a class on the Former Prophets.
He and his wife, Kathy, both hail from Minnesota. After completing his freshman year at a small private college in Minnesota, he decided to pull up stakes and head for Ambassador College in Big Sandy, Texas. It was there that he met his wife and, following graduation and their wedding, Ken was assigned to work as a ministerial trainee in the Atlanta, Georgia, area. Over the past more than 45 years, they have served congregations in Georgia, Texas, Minnesota, Virginia and California.
Meeting and developing friendships with people of diverse backgrounds and talents who share a common vision and strive to work together for a common cause has been incredibly rewarding. Ken enjoys various hobbies, including reading, walking, exercising and playing Frisbee with his miniature schnauzer. He tries to keep up with his three adult sons as they pursue their careers and treasures the time spent with each of them.
