Jeannie Evans’ full name is Loma Jean Evans. (Loma Armstrong requested that she be named after her.) Jeannie lives in Knoxville, Tennessee, with her husband, Eric, the pastor of Church of God, a Worldwide Association, congregations in Knoxville, Tennessee; Asheville, North Carolina; and London, Kentucky.
Jeannie’s father was also a pastor, and she attended Ambassador College and worked in the publishing department of the Worldwide Church of God. Jeannie’s husband was ordained as a minister in 1993.
Jeannie homeschooled her three children most of their years. She has worked as a secretary and realtor and had her own jewelry business. Most recently, she was an administrator for the state of Tennessee’s Civil Air Patrol, working there for nine years. She was a project director for the renovation of its local headquarters. She was a mentor and trained women all over the United States, including Hawaii and Puerto Rico, in using accounting and management integration systems, etc.
Jeannie’s love of writing started as a small child. She loved reading and took creative writing in school. Her desire is to encourage and inspire people. She also enjoys singing, playing golf, designing, creating and baking things for others. She enjoys putting her strengths and talents together with her husband’s to serve the people in their area.
