James Capo has served in the ministry of Jesus Christ for more than 35 years, and currently pastors the Tucson, Prescott Valley and Phoenix, Arizona, and Homer, Alaska, congregations of the Church of God, a Worldwide Association.
He has traveled to 11 countries in service to God’s people, and cared for congregations in seven states.
An avid outdoor enthusiast, he has been a certified rock climbing instructor and guide, has served as the director of numerous church youth camps, and has led outdoor leadership programs for teens and young adults in the Grand Canyon, the Rocky Mountains and the High Sierras.
He enjoys travel and has had a lifelong interest in photography. His wildlife photos are regularly featured in the Discern magazine column, “Wonders of God’s Creation.”
As the happy father of three grown children, he especially treasures every opportunity to visit his children and spend time with his six wonderful grandchildren.
