Harold Rhodes is a retired pastor of the Church of God, a Worldwide Association. He was ordained a minister in 1969 and has served congregations in Missouri, Louisiana, Texas, Tennessee, North Carolina, Alabama and Florida.
Harold has been happily married to his lovely wife, Loree, for more than 50 years. They have two grown children and four grandchildren.
He enjoys writing and has written several articles for the Life, Hope & Truth website.
Harold was first introduced to the Church of God by his father who had listened to Herbert Armstrong’s radio programs since the early 1940s. His interest in studying the Bible date back to his early teen years. He remembers reading the Church of God’s literature to his dad (at his dad’s request), for hours at a time. This reading out loud exercise proved to be a great help later in life when speaking and giving sermons.
Over the years, he has enjoyed such activities as playing the guitar, hunting and fishing—especially fishing.
