Why do you think God established His Law?
Prompts if no response: To give human beings boundaries and guardrails to keep them safe and happy, to definitively show what is right and what is wrong so there isn’t confusion, to instill His perfect values and integrity within human beings so that they can learn to be like Him before becoming spirit beings.
Hypothetical
What would you think or say if you heard this: “Jesus Christ died for my sins, so there are parts of the Law that are nailed to the cross and done away with, like keeping the Sabbath, the Holy Days, tithing, and eating unclean meats.”
Prompts if no response: God doesn’t change his mind on what sins or abominations are simply because it is thousands of years later; Jesus Christ came to fulfill or complete the Law, or in other words, magnify with spiritual intent added, not get rid of it; eating clean meats is part of being holy; keeping the Sabbaths and Holy Days are identifying signs of God’s people; God says not tithing is like robbing Him; just because Christ died for our sins and forgave us doesn’t mean we should just do the same sins that got us in trouble in the first place.
