Our ever-changing world adds new challenges and dangers to our families almost daily. As we struggle with these pressures, we know that God’s Word provides the perfect principles for daily living.
Yet we can still feel overwhelmed as we battle for our individual family’s spiritual health. For example, how do we teach our children purity in a world where sexual immorality is embraced? How do we teach our children uprightness in a world where cheating seems to be the norm? How do we teach our children self-control in a world where self-indulgence is celebrated?
Encourage, Equip & Inspire: A Parent’s Resource Manual is designed to encourage, equip, and inspire you to remain focused on drawing your parenting principles from the only true source of knowledge: the Holy Scriptures.
Parenting is a beautifully rewarding full-time job, at times fraught with challenges. We hope the material on this website will aid you in your endeavors and point you regularly back to the Scriptures as a never-ending source of encouragement and inspiration.
And because every child is unique, the flexibility of this website allows you to choose among many topics and scriptural references which best fit your situation. Your child’s understanding and needs will guide you as you select timely materials.
Why specifically the words encourage, equip and inspire? Clearly we parents are not meant to discourage but rather encourage our children as they grow in faith (Colossians 3:21; 2 Timothy 3:15-17; 1 Peter 3:15). To teach our children how to do this, God gives us the perfect textbook, replete with wisdom profitable for any situation. Studying this textbook regularly builds our hope and faith in God’s plan for each of us individually and for all of humanity, thereby inspiring us!
It is an honor and a blessing to be a teaching parent. Thank you for placing high value on this role. May God grant you wisdom as you embark on or continue along your journey.

We don’t do “watered down.”
Christianity is easy …
…when you remove its standards, blur its focus and strip away its purpose. And a lot of churches are happy to do that for you. We aren’t one of them.
Jesus talked about a narrow path.
A difficult way.
A lifestyle as challenging as it is rewarding.
That’s the road we’re interested in walking.
LifeHopeandTruth.com exists to fill a critical void in this world: the lack of understanding about the purpose of life, the lack of realistic hope for a better future and the lack of truth!
