Satan’s Disguise as an Angel of Light
And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also transform themselves into ministers of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works.

As we have seen the last couple of days on the Daily Bible Verse Blog, God warns His people to avoid counterfeits. Here Paul explains the source of counterfeit religion—Satan, the master counterfeiter. He deceives the whole world ( Revelation 12:9 ). He disguises himself as the angel of light that he once was ( Isaiah 14:12 ; Ezekiel 28:12-15).
