Jesus Christ Returns to the Earth
And in that day His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, which faces Jerusalem on the east. And the Mount of Olives shall be split in two, from east to west, making a very large valley; half of the mountain shall move toward the north and half of it toward the south.
Though Jesus Christ’s second coming is for the purpose of preventing humanity from annihilating itself, the armies of the world will be deceived. They will suddenly stop fighting each other and turn against Christ! But humanity and its evil spirit overseers will be no match for the Almighty God, and Christ will return to the Mount of Olives, the same place from which He left (Acts 1:9-12).
Then will begin the 1,000-year rule of Christ and His followers on this earth (Revelation 20:4; 5:10). Finally the world will learn the way of peace, and God’s way will spread to all the world.
